So today I've come to realize that the fun I once found in Facebook has gone by the wayside. Everyone is way too critical, judgmental and insensitive. Today, my own daughter deleted me from her Facebook! We all know that being deleted hurts. It's like a break up of a relationship. But when it is done by a family member the sting is even more hurtful than you can imagine. What was my crime? I simply emailed a concern over a status she had. Truth to tell, we've had a rocky relationship her whole life. She moved out and I thought things would be better but there is still that little dig of never quite saying or doing the right thing.
I've also noticed with facebook that people hide behind their real meaning. Or they will be very vague with statuses leaving you to wonder if they are about you or not.
I'm not sure where I'll go with this blog...time will tell. But for now I have written my first post!
